Senior UI/UX Designer
Lead user research, design systems, and high-fidelity prototypes for SaaS and e-commerce products that convert.
About the role
We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design layer across client engagements – from discovery and user research through design system creation and developer handoff.
This is a role for a designer who thinks in systems, not screens. You partner closely with engineers to ensure what ships matches what was designed – and that every interaction serves a measurable business goal.
You'll present design rationale to clients, facilitate feedback sessions, and iterate quickly without sacrificing craft or accessibility.
Core responsibilities
- User research: Conduct interviews, journey mapping, and usability testing to ground design decisions in evidence.
- Design systems: Build and maintain Figma design systems with tokens, components, and documentation for engineering handoff.
- High-fidelity design: Create wireframes and polished UI for web and mobile — SaaS dashboards, e-commerce flows, and marketing sites.
- Developer collaboration: Partner with engineers on Storybook, Tailwind tokens, and pixel-perfect implementation reviews.
- Accessibility: Ensure WCAG 2.1 compliance across all deliverables — color contrast, keyboard nav, and screen reader support.
- Client presentation: Present design work to clients with clear rationale, iterate on feedback, and manage design timelines.
What we're looking for
We are looking for a designer with a portfolio that demonstrates complex product work – not just visual polish.
Technical mastery
- →Figma expertise: Advanced component libraries, auto-layout, variants, and design token workflows.
- →Product thinking: Portfolio showing SaaS, e-commerce, or enterprise product design — with measurable outcomes.
- →Research skills: Experience running usability tests and translating findings into design improvements.
- →Design systems: Built or maintained component libraries used by engineering teams.
- →Responsive & mobile: Strong web and mobile design skills with attention to breakpoint behavior.
Professional attributes
- →Detail-oriented: Pixel-perfect execution and consistent spacing, typography, and interaction patterns.
- →Collaborative: Comfortable working in agile sprints alongside engineers and PMs.
- →Client-ready: Professional presentation skills and ability to receive and incorporate feedback.
- →Self-managed: Owns design timelines and proactively flags blockers or scope risks.
