Junior Full Stack Software Engineer
Grow into a full-stack engineer on real client projects — mentored by seniors, shipping code from day one.
About the role
GeniusXLab LLC is an IT services and IT consulting company. We partner with clients across industries to deliver custom software, modern web and mobile applications, and AI-infused integrations using technologies like React, Vue, Angular, Node.js, and .NET. We work as an embedded extension of our clients' teams, helping them ship faster, scale their platforms, and solve hard technical problems. As a growing company, we're investing in early-career engineers we can develop into long-term technical leaders.
GeniusXLab is looking for a driven Junior Software Engineer eager to learn, contribute, and grow with us. We care more about your curiosity, communication, and hunger to build than the length of your resume. If you're a developer early in your career who learns fast, asks good questions, and wants real ownership of meaningful work, this is for you. You'll be mentored by senior engineers while taking on increasing responsibility as you grow.
As a Junior Software Engineer, you'll work alongside our engineering team and, over time, contribute directly to client projects. You won't be stuck on busywork; you'll write real code that ships, with guidance and code review to help you level up quickly. The pace is energetic, the learning curve is steep, and your growth is the point. You'll build features, fix bugs, and steadily take on larger pieces of the work as you prove yourself. Strong spoken and written English matters, since you'll collaborate closely with teammates and, increasingly, with clients in standups and planning discussions.
Core responsibilities
- Learning and collaboration: Work alongside senior engineers, learning our stack, tools, and engineering practices; participate in standups, planning sessions, and code reviews as an active team member; ask questions, absorb feedback, and apply it quickly.
- Full stack development: Build and maintain front-end and back-end features under the guidance of senior engineers; help develop and test APIs and services as product requirements evolve; write clean, readable code and learn to balance speed with quality.
- Quality and growth: Write and run tests to help ensure your work is reliable; help identify and fix bugs and small performance issues; apply secure coding and data-handling basics, building good habits from day one.
- Direct impact: Take ownership of well-scoped tasks and deliver them reliably; bring creative, scrappy problem solving to evolving requirements; connect your work to client and business outcomes as you grow.
What we're looking for
We look for people who are resourceful, communicative, and accountable — curiosity matters more than years on a résumé.
Technical mastery
- →Foundational knowledge of at least one front-end framework (React, Vue, or Angular) and one back-end technology (Node.js, .NET, or similar).
- →Understanding of how RESTful APIs work.
- →Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- →Self-driven, curious, and comfortable learning new tools and stacks quickly.
- →A collaborative attitude and willingness to receive and act on feedback.
- →Solid grasp of programming fundamentals (data structures, version control with Git).
Professional attributes
- →Resourceful: willing to dig into new stacks and problems, and to try before asking for help.
- →Communicative: who keep teammates and stakeholders informed and aligned.
- →Accountable: who follow through and own their work, mistakes included.
Why you'll love working with us
